Summer term 2024 - primary headteacher termly meetings

Thursday 6th June 2024

The summer term Primary Headteacher meetings will be held this month on the following dates:

WEST                     Wednesday 12th June
Manor Suite, Manor of Groves, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0JU

SOUTH                   Thursday 13th June
Greenwoods Hotel and Spa, Stock Rd, Stock, CM4 9BE

NORTH -EAST        Wednesday 19th June
Colchester Football Stadium, United Way, Colchester, CO4 5UP

MID                         Thursday 20th June
The Lion Inn, Main Road, Boreham, CM3 3JA           

You are likely to want to attend your local meeting, but if the date doesn’t work for you please do attend any of the other meetings.

The EPHA slot at the meeting will include the area annual general meeting. Please see the nomination form below for your local representatives.

The LA update will include:

  • Director’s welcome and view from the Bridge
  • SEND 20-week process update and Q&A
  • Attendance Specialist update
  • Round Table Discussion & Feedback  - Focus on SEND Strategic Planning Meetings

The LA has produced a briefing pack of information, some of which will not be covered at the meeting.

In the afternoon Jo Barclay will run the termly safeguarding forum meeting – headteachers are very welcome to stay on and attend, and other staff from schools across the area will join the meeting.

Alternatively, there is an online option on Tuesday 25th June, from 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm. If you would prefer to attend the online safeguarding forum please book your place via the  Education Essex online booking system
