The spring term Primary Headteacher meetings will be held this month on the following dates:
WEST Wednesday 4th March Manor Suite, Manor of Groves, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0JU
SOUTH Thursday 5th March The Lion Inn, Main Road, Boreham, CM3 3JA
NORTH -EAST Wednesday 11th March Colchester Football Stadium, United Way, Colchester, CO4 5UP
MID Thursday 12th March The Lion Inn, Main Road, Boreham, CM3 3JA
You are likely to want to attend your local meeting, but if the date doesn’t work for you please do attend any of the other meetings. There is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy!
The EPHA slot at the meeting will include input from Nicki Harris, Juniper HR, giving a spring term update about a range of HR issues and upcoming changes to employment law. The spring term EPHA newsletter will be shared at the meeting.
The LA update will include:
- Director’s welcome and updates
- Information about a Year 6 – 7 pilot transition project in Wickford
In the afternoon Jo Barclay will run the termly safeguarding forum meeting – headteachers are very welcome to stay on and attend, and other DSLs from schools across the area will join the meeting.
NB There is no need to book your place at the in-person safeguarding forum, but please make sure that you sign the register when you attend.
There is an alternative online option, taking place on Tuesday 17th March 2025, from 3.30 – 5.00 pm. Please book a place via Education Essex.
