Summer term 2025 - primary headteacher meetings

Tuesday 3rd June 2025

The summer term Primary Headteacher meetings will be held this month on the following dates:

NORTH -EAST         Wednesday 11th June    

Colchester Football Stadium, United Way, Colchester, CO4 5UP

SOUTH                      Thursday 12th June
Greenwoods Hotel and Spa, Stock Rd, Stock, CM4 9BE

WEST                        Wednesday 18th June

Manor Suite, Manor of Groves, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0JU

MID                            Thursday 19th June

The Lion Inn, Main Road, Boreham, CM3 3JA                   

You are likely to want to attend your local meeting, but if the date doesn’t work for you please do attend any of the other meetings.

The EPHA slot at the meeting will include the area annual general meeting. Please see the nomination form below for your local representatives.

We will also have input from LA colleagues about how to access and use the Apprenticeship Levy, and the Apprenticeship Support Fund.

The LA update will include:

  • Director’s update
  • SEND Banding update
  • Update on Educational Psychology in Essex 
  • Round Table Discussion & Feedback  - Focus on EP strategic planning

In the afternoon Jo Barclay will run the termly safeguarding forum meeting – headteachers are very welcome to stay on and attend, and other staff from schools across the area will join the meeting.
Alternatively, there is an online option on Monday 23rd June, from 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm. If you would prefer to attend the online safeguarding forum please book your place via the  Education Essex online booking system
