The Area Primary Headteacher meetings will be held in November - see dates and venues below. The day will start at 9.00 am and please make sure you book out the whole day to benefit from the Local Authority, EPHA and school improvement input. Please find attached the agendas for the meetings (as I receive them) and a briefing paper from the Local Authority which will be considered at the meeting.
The dates of the meetings are:
SOUTH Tuesday 4 November Holiday Inn, Basildon
NORTH-EAST Wednesday 5 November Weston Homes Community Stadium
WEST Tuesday 11 November Park Inn, Harlow - PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF ORIGINAL VENUE
MID Wednesday 12 November Chelmsford City Football Club
The agenda will include updates about the Local Authority strategic priorities, in particular the progress of the SEN Strategy and capital programme. There will also be key updates from HR and good practice case studies from schools, in relation to marking and feedback and improving overall effectiveness.
The South, North-East and Mid Areas will have an ICT speed-dating session in the afternoon, whilst West headteachers will have a presentation about effective use of the Pupil Premium Grant.
