The primary headteacher meetings are being held after half term:
South Tuesday 5 November The Holiday Inn, Basildon (note new venue)
North East Wednesday 6 November Weston Homes Community Stadium
West Tuesday 12 November The Churchgate Hotel
Mid Thursday 14 November Chelmsford City Football Club
The agendas for the meetings are attached - please follow the links above. Each day begins at 9.00 am and runs through until 3.15 pm (with refreshments and lunch provided) - make sure that you take the whole day out to benefit from the presentations and discussions. One of the agenda items in the morning will focus on a briefing paper from the LA - please download and bring a copy to the meeting. The EPHA Autumn term newsletter will be provided at the meeting.
The meeting will include presentations about the future of Special Educational Needs provision in Essex, and the new National Curriculum, plus the challenge of "assessment beyond levels". There will be a slot with HR consultants and an introduction to Headspace, a support and well-being programme for headteachers.
There is no need to book a place, just turn up at your local meetings. We look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, we hope that you have had a good half term.
