We have been asked to remind schools that the tree service applies to all schools, including academies, and not simply maintained ones. All schools should now have had at least one visit to complete a risk assessment on their trees and received a report to let them know the condition of them.
There is some concern that schools are paying for this service and a number were not included in the first three year cycle. The Local Authority is now starting on the second round so any schools who haven't been inspected should contact Dominic Poston at the LA.
