Welcome back to the summer term 2013 - and notification of new documents from Ofsted

Monday 15th April 2013

The Handbook, Framework and Subsidiary Guidance have all had small changes - the school inspection handbook now includes reference to the school data dashboard (which has recently been updated with clarification about the quintiles - go to http://dashboard.ofsted.gov.uk/index.php for more information). The Subsidiary Guidance now includes reference to the EYFS handbook and there has been a revision to the section on governance (para 76). The Framework for school inspection simply has a number of minor typographical changes.

Details of the programme for the day will be with you later in the term. The dates of the meetings are:

I will be sending out a Welcome letter and handbook to new headteachers in the next few days - but if you are an established headteacher, please encourage new colleagues to attend the EPHA meeting and take advantage of the networking and support that these events provide.

I look forward to seeing you during the term - in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any further information. langmead@tesco.net
