We hope you had a very happy Christmas and New Year break - and had a chance for some rest, recuperation and FUN with family and friends!
Ofsted has been busy during the break and has updated a number of documents, which have been posted on the Ofsted page of the website. The "summary of changes" sets out what has been altered in the documents - most are minor, but it is worth noting that the School Inspection Handbook, the Framework and the subsidiary guidance all have been updated.
The e-safety briefing paper has been updated to include 2012 information, and the safeguarding briefing paper includes important updates referring to the new Disclosure and Barring Service (established in December)
In addition, the LAT (Learner Achievement Tracker Guidance has been removed and has been replaced with a Level 3 value added (L3VA) briefing paper.
