Welcome back to the new school year - I hope that you have had a chance to rest and recharge over the summer.

There are still places available for the Deputy Headteachers' conference on Friday 12 October 2012 - a varied and interesting programme is planned and it should be a good day for Deputy and Assistant Headteachers. Please encourage your Deputy to download the attached programme and book, if s/he hasn't already booked a place.

The DfE and Ofsted have been busy over the summer updating and publishing a number of documents and regulations and I have posted many of these on the website, including:
